Reading the exercises are great and bring awareness

I really didn't consider myself a procrastinator, or at least, I believed that I had recovered from it. The book is divided into 4 main sections and it wasn't until I got to the 4th that I was able to identify with the source of what I wasn't acknowledging as procrastination, but recognized it. Reading the exercises are great and bring awareness, but I believe it's best to go through the question portion with someone else. This is a great workbook for coaches as well to work with clients.

excellent tool for digging deep

this workbook provides personal surveys in each of the 4 areas connected with our past so that emotional baggage can be identified with clarity and then replaced with hope and healing! it's a great resource for individuals but even better with a group who can support each other towards growth.

Fantastic Book--Different than the typical self-help

I was looking for something in life for years which was always elusive. I found it in this book. I am not a believer so I was very, very reluctant to open this book when I figured out it was Christian based.

Christian based or not, this author hits on points like no one I have ever read and the inspirations based in real life issues are life-changing. This isn't a "pray and God will fix" type of books. It is based on reason, sound advice and a real set of questions to make you take a indepth look at yourself.

One of the most important things I learned from her book was the difference between shame and guilt. For the first time I understand and can separate the two based in reality, not feelings. I skip over the religious parts and have already noticed a difference in how I perceive situations differently and I haven't gotten to the end of the book yet!

Her "tree of life" is something everyone should understand, especially those who give and give of themselves. I have heard the same cliche' time after time but this author uts a different twist on it that makes sense.

This will be something I will always keep and reread because the inspiration is brilliant.
