Daisy Martinez
Daisy Martinez, the author of Daisy: Morning, Noon and Night, is the star of Viva Daisy!, which debuted on the Food Network in January 2009. She launched her career with the PBS series Daisy Cooks! and a cookbook based on the show. She has appeared on the Today show and The Early Show, and has been featured in The Washington Post, Reader's Digest, and AARP VIVA, among other publications. A dedicated mother of four fantastic children, Daisy and her family reside in Brooklyn, New York.

Very nice sampler.

I'm glad I ignored the one star review. This is a very nice sampler. I have already bookmarked several recipes to try. There is an interactive TOC that works perfectly. Beautiful photographs (I read my ecookbooks on my Kindle for PC application). I will probably use more recipes from this sampler than I do from most of the full cookbooks I own.
I love flourless chocolate cake and there is a recipe in this book for Flourless Chocolate-Chile Cake that I'm dying to try. Two other recipes that is on my short list to try are the Cinnamon Nut Spice Cookies and the Lemon Drops.

Nice little collection

If you are looking for a full on cookbook, this isn't it. But it's a great little cookbook with perfect recipes for the holidays. I've picked out a few to try this weekend for Thanksgiving. And I love having the recipes on my Kindle, so I don't have to have something hold the book open.

I tried several of the recipes for our Thanksgiving weekend and everyone loved them! Easy to follow directions and ingredients many will already have in their pantry make this a book worth exploring often.
