A MUST READ IF YOU LIKE WESTERNS

Brandvold starts the book off with a bang, ends it with a bang and lots of bangs in between. Deputy Marshal Spur Morgan may be an old dog but he has a lot of bark left in him.
After the first four chapters, which are great, Morgan goes after the Vulture gang headed by Clell Stanhope. This bunch will do anything, they will kill for no reason, do what ever they want to whom ever they want, anytime.
Lots of action,lots of shooting, lots of skill used by Spur,who finally picks up a friend in Yakima Henry. I hope he appears in more Spur books.
It is hard to put this book down, there never seems to be a stopping place, there is always something happening.
If you like a western with lots of action and you learn to hate the gang that is being chased, then this is the book for you. You can't wait to see if or how they will be put down.
Has a great, great ending.

This is a fast action western with twist, and turns. Well written and laid out, with a great ending. I loved it.
